Conservatives Are Hypocrites

First and foremost, many of my posts will be those which come in opposition to conservatives and Republicans. I am not doing this because I am a Democrat, I in fact dislike both sides, but just dislike conservatives a hell of a lot more. Starting off, I would like to address the moral strangle Republicans and conservatives alike have put on this country. Since Reagan Republican's have tried to use morals and religion as a way to show that they are more right to serve the country and its people. As well, they have fought hard to try to bring religion more into America life and use it as much as possible, not only by using it when they talk, but aligning with religious zealots. Many Republicans use religion to show how moral they are, by opposing abortion and gay marriage. First off, Roe v. Wade set a prescient by the Supreme Court that was set out giving women the rights they deserve. Many also disagree with abortion because it "kills", but also supported many wars they have killed a lot more actually living people, as well supported the death penalty. Additionally, Republicans have opposed same sex marriage, which is even a more mind twister. They first said they oppose it because the bible says marriage is only supposed to be between a man and a woman. First off, where in the bible does it specifically say this? Additionally, if we are taking the bible to its word, if it exists, then slavery, marrying your daughter and being close friends with prostitutes should be advocated. Furthermore, they make the argument that same sex marriage will ruin marriage. I ask, "how can two people wanting to get married ruin marriage"? Likewise, only half of marriages last in America today, marriage obviously is not that sacred if only half the people actually stay that way. Many of the elected Republicans have had multiple marriages, Gingrich, Reagan, Giuliani (married to his cousin) McCain and countless others. In most of these cases these moral men cheated on their wives, many in horrible circumstances and in many cases leaving their children behind, as Reagan had. I am not saying people from other political parties have not done this, but Republicans have pushed their morals so hard without actually standing for anything.

Conservatives Ruining Ohio

The last election brought a Republican overhaul to the great state of Ohio.These Republicans are part of the new breed of ultra conservative religious types who have came in to their jobs and have tried to turn back the clock and turn the state into a conservative nightmare. The recent passing of Senate Bill 5, which is the state anti-collective bargaining bill. This bill limits the bargaining rights to state employees, including teachers, firefighters and police officers. The bill also restricts contract disputes by state employees as well. The governor says this will save a lot of money, which , in fact it may, but he himself has hired public sector employees to his cabinet and paid them large sums of money. His argument for that is, that to get good people from the private sector you have to pay them well. So essentially saying that public employees make to much as it is, but to get better public employees from the private sector yo have to pay them a lot? This is what upsets me, hypocrisy and not focusing on the right issues. He has cut essential jobs and underfunded schools, especially in regions which did not vote for him like Northeast Ohio where Cleveland is. As well, these conservatives has passed a "heartbeat bill", which would ban abortions after a "heartbeat" can be detected, which in some cases could be as early as 6 weeks in pregnancy. Another bill would also make sure insurance plans could not be used for procedures. If passed  by Senate, these laws would be some of the strictest in the country and I believe unconstitutional with opposition to Roe v. Wade. Many groups that I would have to agree with, say that many women do not even know they are pregnant by 6 weeks, thus creating a complete anti-abortion law. Roe v. Wade, in most cases covers women up 22 to 24 weeks! These fake religious, family values people are trying to become elected by pandering to a small minority of small minded people who apparently think it is 1890. These conservatives are weak, unintelligent, out of touch people who use religion and morals to pass legislation which in most cases, is neither of those things. Conservatives trick many workers whose rights they want to limit by telling them that its better for them because unions are ruining things. Guess what, SB5 does not only cover union workers. As well, I do not know how men can try to pass legislation to limit women's rights. Just another way conservatives use a way to limit women's rights across the board. I am sure many of these men still wish it was the 1950's and their wives can sit at home, pop out babies and bake pies. Sorry this post is not as concise and orderly as I would want it to be.
